Frequently asked questions.
What is soft washing, and how is it different from pressure washing?
Soft washing utilizes low-pressure water, combined with specialized cleaning solutions, to remove stains caused by organic growths such as algae, mold, mildew, and lichen. It also removes other surface grime, dirt, and buildup that can accumulate over time. Unlike high-pressure washing—which can damage roofing materials, house siding, wood trim, and other delicate surfaces—soft washing is the industry standard for safely cleaning areas like asphalt shingles, vinyl siding, stucco, and painted wood.
DO YOU USE MY WATER DURING THE CLEANING PROCESS?
Yes. I connect to your outdoor water spigot during service. This is standard practice for exterior cleaning and how most professionals operate—it ensures reliable water flow and keeps the setup simple. If access is limited or you have questions, I’ll go over everything during your quote.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME DURING THE SERVICE?
No, you don’t need to be home as long as I have access to the areas being cleaned and a working outdoor water spigot. If you prefer to be home or have specific concerns, I’m happy to schedule a time that works best for you.
DO YOU OFFER PAVER SANDING AND SEALING?
Yes, I offer paver sanding and sealing. If you'd like this service, I’ll need to go over your preferred sand color and the type of sealer you want. A deposit for materials is required before service begins.
